It is your ultimate kite for loop progression, with more precise, responsive steering and increased loft and hangtime. What’s new for 2026
For 2026 the Orbit gets the N-Max2 airframe first seen on the Orbit Pro — 8% lighter and 30% stronger — a thinner leading edge, and a fifth bridle attachment point (up from four). Aspect ratio moves from 4.3 to 5.2, and the more forward, cambered profile means higher boosts and easier loops.

FAQ
Does the Orbit 2026 work with my bar — Low-V or High-V?
The Orbit 2026, like all North kites from 2020 onwards, is a Low-V kite. It pairs directly with the North Navigator and Navigator Pro control systems — no adapter needed. North's High-V Split Kit exists only for flying other brands' High-V kites on a Navigator bar. Flying the Orbit on another brand's bar? Message us on WhatsApp with your bar model and we'll check.
What size should I get?
Our honest advice: go one size bigger than you think. The Orbit loves power — it excels when the kite is properly full of wind. The 2026 is lighter, so its low end is better than previous years, but you still want it powered: at 85 kg, a 9m needs 18–20 knots to be fun; at 75–80 kg a 9m works from about 20 knots. And don't fear sizing up for loops — a 10m Orbit 2026 loops almost as fast as a 9m Orbit 2025 did.

Is the Orbit OK if I'm not a big air rider?
Yes. Big air is where the Orbit excels, but it's genuinely user-friendly: light bar pressure, no twitchiness, forgiving handling, easy relaunch. Retailers list it for all levels.
